So What’s New?

So here are some highlights from my life in the past few months…

  • We’re having another girl!  We found out on March 20th that Robin is pregnant with another girl!  We are super excited.  Her name will be: Maya Louise Krill – tentatively of course.
  • My job has been going really well.  I have received a couple of… um, I guess promotions – for lack of better terms – in the past few weeks.  I’m starting to really feel a part of the team.  It’s really great.
  • Two nights ago, on March 26th – I went to my first ever NBA game, which also happened to be my first Trail Blazers game.  IT WAS AMAZING!  They beat the Pheonix Suns 129-109, but just mentioning the score only hints at how amazing this game was.  The crowd was excited and cheering and on their feet almost the entire game.  I went with my new friends, Chris and Clay, and we had a blast.  Best time I’ve had out in Portland yet.
  • I got a record player!  And a few records to go with it!  My buddy Chris is way into Vinyl and influenced me into getting a player and a small collection.  The turntable ended up being free (I was going to buy it off Craig’s List, and I tried to meet up with the guy a few times and he didn’t show so he ended up just giving it to me for free!) and I bought two Mewithoutyou albums (Brother Sister and Catch for us the Foxes) and then Andy and Danny Richards got me Pinback (Summer in Abaddon) and Iron and Wine.  I’m loving it.  I had to finagle with the turntable to get it to work… but it’s working great now!

In other not so highlighting or good news:

  • It’s still raining.  I can’t say I’m sad about it, or disappointed – I’m still enjoying the rain.  But it will be nice to see the Sun again soon.
  • I still haven’t gotten my Oregon License… haha.  it’s hard to find the time to go to the DMV – plus they have stupid hours.  Robin hasn’t gotten hers either!  Ooops
