I just finished a new song… it should be playing. If not, see the player to the right. It’s called “If War is the Question…”

Please leave me feedback.

[ lyrics ]

How did we become like this

How’d the world lose it’s light

What is causing this darkness

when will we regain our sight?

Have we not learned from the past

Have we not learned from these scars

are we this blind, can we not see

killing solves nothing, killing solves nothing

Somewhere somebody lied to us

Told us that we could control

Gave us a taste of power

And the poison seeped into our souls

now we just live in fear, now we’re dead inside

can we find peace to live

can we let go of pride?

ARE WE THIS BLIND, CAN WE NOT SEE

KILLING SOLVES NOTHING, KILLING SOVLES NOTHING

LORD GIVE US SIGHT, GOD HELP US SEE

LOVE IS THE ANSWER, LOVE IS THE ANSWER

The sounds of progress rush in from beyond the screen door
The heavy breathing and snoring of the rumbling train and the dull blast that floats down from above as the plains follow suit after each other in the night
A low nearly inaudible drone sits low in the background, electricity mixed with distant busy streets and air conditioners, the symphony is complete with the stringed crickets carrying the monotone melody through the thick night air
And what of this metal mesh that separates inside from out – a thin layer – a fortress to flies – what sound waves does it disrupt or send bouncing back into the abyss of stars?
Could I but open it and let in the mysterious unheard melodies of mermaids and sirens serene?
Are the angels performing an opus, perfect and peaceful yet prone to deflection from manmade steel?
What world of sounds has died beneath the weight of our progress?
The steady flow of noise, the never ending drum, the sounds of progress rush in from beyond my fantasy deflection device
